Imagined Cities: ‘Worried,’ a short comic written under the theme of ‘Imagined Cities’ was chosen to feature in an exhibition and anthology of the same name at London Print Studios.

The anthology was part of a community arts project funded by

the John Lyons Foundation and run by a group of interns at

the studios. You can find out more at their blog here. The

anthology consisted of work both by the young people

selected and professional artists, and featured an introduction

by Posy Simmonds.

about~ There once was a little girl who wore stripy socks and spent all day drawing and writing stories. Then she got a bit older and her website name became somewhat inappropriate. She studied some Astrophysics at university, then left so she could do her singing and writing and drawing all the time.

Other Sounds: Manchester’s ‘Other sounds’ society is a place to find exciting music and meet people with similar tastes. They run several projects and meet-ups, and in September 2011, I was made Head of Design.

Other Sounds presents... at Platt Chapel

On February 17th, Other Sounds ran a night at Platt chapel and were proud to present Talons, Klaus Kinski, Organ Freeman and Elk Blood. I was involved in promotion, producing and printing graphics and posters (below right) and making a special set of banners which I started painting, then members could add to and draw on themselves.
